Material Handler, 1st Shift Pay: $19.00 to $28.60 per hour Location: Indianapolis, IN Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm Who we are Alexandria Industries has been making custom aluminum extrusions since 1966. About the job

We are hiring a Material Handler to keep our products moving safely, inside and outside the plant. As a Material Handler, you will receive, pack, and ship finished material, working on your own and with a team. Safety and quality come first, and we welcome your ideas to improve how we work. What a Material Handler does Operate forklifts, cranes, and yard trucks safely Receive and inspect incoming material, then stock it and process transfers in our system Pack, wrap, band, and label finished product for shipment Load carriers and complete shipping paperwork Count inventory and resolve any differences Required High school diploma or equivalent Ability to safely operate a forklift and semi-tractor Basic blueprint reading and intermediate math skills Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
