The South Amboy School District has the following openings for the 2026-2027 school year. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS/ALL GRADE LEVELS / ALL SUBJECTS Rate of pay: $130.00 per day for daily substitutes | No benefits REQUIREMENTS: New Jersey Standard Certificate preferred New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility preferred County Substitute License Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance Physical exam required The selection process will continue until a candidate is appointed.
Appointment is at the discretion of the South Amboy Board of Education. If, and when, an appointment is made, appropriate staff will be notified. EOE AA Employer
