Shipping & Receiving Associate

• Sugar Land, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Mako Industries is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate that will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are properly stored, packaged, and shipped. This position requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment. Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify quantities, product descriptions, and shipping documents against purchase orders. Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments. Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment. Maintain accurate inventory records using a computer or inventory management system. Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment when authorized. Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments regarding deliveries and shipments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the appropriate supervisor. Follow company policies, shipping procedures, and workplace safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred. Basic computer skills and the ability to complete shipping documentation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift certification is a plus, if applicable.
