CDL Class A (Preferred) Transportation regulations experience (FMCSA and DOT) Supply Chain

• Proficient with MS Excel and Word; electronic systems: Samsara, Netradyne and TMW or Beyond Trucks a plus. This includes assisting with scheduling and dispatching within safety guidelines and DOT regulations , paperwork scanning, yard checks, driver coaching, and occasional driving. Must be able to work a minimum of 5 days per week - some weekends, if needed Principle Roles & Responsibilities: Keep safety awareness at the forefront of all we do at Modern Transportation Ensure all drivers stay current on required monthly safety training. Review Understand and Manage Modern Transportations Supervisors Policies and Procedures to meet and exceed expectations. Review Understand and Manage Modern Transportations Drivers Policies and Procedures to meet and exceed expectations. Review Understand Manage and complete the Locations Daily / Weekly / Monthly Task List to meet and exceed expectations. Daily scanning of BOLs Review driver paperwork for accuracy Ensure drivers are paid accurately, timely and fairly Insure all employees comply with federal, state, and local regulations Schedule drivers to meet or exceed all customers’ expectations within safety guidelines Insure all employees comply with PPE requirements and dress code Document required safety training Provide daily /weekly performance reports to include delays and missed loads Support truck and trailer maintenance program Ensure drivers do proper pre and post trip inspections daily Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance Other duties as assigned.
