Owner Operator – Class 1 P&D

Midland Transport is currently seeking professional Class 1 P&D Owner Operator based in Kentville, NS. In this role, you will operate a tractor‑trailer to complete scheduled local routes, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to our customers. Schedule: Monday to Friday (10:00 - 20:00) What We Offer:

• Fuel purchased at authorized by the Company fuel stops will be charged to the Owner Operator at a rate of $0.408.

• Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery
• Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage
• Communicate efficiently with dispatch and customers
• Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation
• Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner
• Must have a reliable Tractor Truck no older than eight years
• Education Required: High School or GED
• AZ driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience required
• Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search
• Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
• Safety conscious.
• Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
