Position: Real Estate / Facility Manager Department: Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Experience Reports To: EMEA Real Estate & Workplace Manager Role Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Real Estate & Facilities Manager to lead operations in our offices and labs. This role combines real estate management, facilities oversight, and workplace experience (WX) to support agile, hybrid work environments and high-performing business, sales, and R&D teams.

The position requires strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with global Corporate Real Estate standards and delivering integrated, tech-enabled, people-first workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

new contracts, renewals, relocations, closures, and site expansions. Oversee lease administration and fit-outs in partnership with Legal, Finance, and external consultants. Collect and analyze decision-framing data (occupancy, spend-to-date, benchmarking) and provide measurable metrics to guide success. Identify and communicate project risks, prepare executive-level summaries, and maintain proactive stakeholder communication.

Lead day-to-day facilities operations for regional office and lab sites, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance. Manage vendor relationships for facilities, lab services, cleaning, and maintenance. Drive space planning and optimization to support business growth and hybrid work models. Deliver Workplace Experience initiatives: smart workspace tools, collaborative zones, wellness features, and consistent brand expression.

Partner with IT, HR, Branding, and Lab Operations for integrated workplace solutions and attending the work council meetings Develop accurate financial forecasting for the regional portfolio, manage operational expenses, and support capital planning. Monitor and advance sustainability goals, including energy use in lab operations and green building practices.

Ensure regulatory compliance in partnership with IT and Security standards. Ensure regulatory EHS compliance and Security standards. Supervise EHS documentation (e.g., emergency procedures, mandatory assessments) and coordinate required trainings (first aid, electrical safety, evacuation). Support internal and external audits and maintain physical security compliance.

Coordinate technical security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms) in compliance with corporate security guidelines and ISO 27001 standards. Support real estate and facilities integration during M&A, including due diligence, onboarding, and site transition planning. Coordinate multiple and competing activities for efficient use of time and resources.

Your Profile

Undergraduate degree in business, real estate, property management, or related field. 10 years’ experience in corporate real estate or facilities management, ideally in tech, R&D, or lab-based environments. Knowledge of facilities planning, construction management, and building infrastructure (HVAC, safety systems, utilities).

Strong understanding of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Project coordination Familiarity with hybrid workplace models, digital workplace tools, and user-centered design. Knowledge of finance, budgeting, and cost control principles. Ability to manage tactical execution while maintaining strategic focus.

Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written). Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to travel regionally and globally up to 30%, sometimes on short notice. More information about NXP in France... #LI-7795
