Position Summary

Our Dermatology office is looking for a part-time receptionist to join our team. Our receptionists are friendly, reliable, hard-working, and great with patients. Experience in a medical office setting is strongly preferred but not required. We are looking for people who are service-oriented, and can multi-task, prioritize, and work well in a busy environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for opening and closing the office, according to office guidelines
• Patient check-in/out for multiple providers.
• Answering patient phone calls, questions and leaving messages.
• Scheduling appointments for multiple locations and providers
• Collecting co-pays and balances.
• Data entry
• Must be a self-motivated individual Qualifications:
• Customer service skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Phone experience
• Previous medical office receptionist experience preferred but not required
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to multi-task
• Responds promptly to the needs of others and looks for ways to help and serve.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing day-to-day tasks Hours: This will be a set schedule upon hiring. We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We are currently looking for 2 days a week, approximately 20 hrs. Current position is for part time but can grow into a full-time position. Additional Notes: Great customer care, phone experience, previous medical office receptionist experience preferred but not required, computer proficiency, and ability to multi-task.
