- Life Insurance Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or 8+ years of technical experience as an SDET or similar role.
- 6+ years of professional experience in an object-oriented programming language.
- Knowledge and experience across the full development lifecycle, including code standards/reviews, source control, builds, and testing.
- Experience developing and testing in C# or Java.
- Experience creating tests with Appium and Selenium libraries.
- Experience designing and implementing tests for iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Experience building, maintaining, and scaling test automation frameworks with a focus on extensibility, scalability, maintainability, and high performance.
- Strong background in developing and implementing end-to-end test strategies.
- Prior experience with Agile methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels.
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with AI/ML driven testing platforms and predictive analytics.
- Experience implementing test automation in CI/CD processes (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux). Key Responsabilities:
- Hands- Design, develop, document, and maintain tools, test cases, and automation frameworks for current and next generation platforms. Collaborate with Product Management, Software Engineering, DevOps, and other technical teams in release planning and coordination.
- Interpret functional requirements and designs to plan, develop, write, execute, and automate functional and data validation test plans.
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams on strategy and maintenance of development and QA environments required for TDD/CI/CD.
- Provide feedback and influence the design process to ensure testable platforms, applications, and data models.
- Build quality, performance, and reliability into products from day one.
- Drive effective technical execution and communication as a member of Agile Scrum teams.
- Document and communicate automation framework functions, interfaces, performance criteria, test cases, and results to diverse audiences.
- Estimate effort, schedule tasks, and deliver according to agreed scope and milestones to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct defect management activities include issue identification, research, analysis, and documentation.
- Work closely with development teams on unit test reviews, issue diagnosis, resolution, and closure.
- Lead or collaborate on data analysis to determine data integrity and consistency, or root cause of issues.
- Provide technical vision for assigned products.
- Train engineers on new tools, methodologies, and technologies.
- Mentor engineers to foster personal and professional growth.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and quality.
- Identify technical solutions to problems and conduct proof of concepts (POCs) for new tools and applications.
