Recreation Staff Assistant I - (Parker Bennett)

"Lead the Play, Make the Day!" WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Keep the game in play - support daily operations in a fast-moving environment Draw up the plays, plan, and lead engaging indoor and outdoor activities Call it fair play - supervise participants and keep things safe and positive Be the MVP of events - assist with special events and facility rentals Keep the gear in gear - maintain equipment and manage inventory Stay on the scoreboard - track attendance and keep reports on point Do the field check - inspect facilities to keep them clean, safe, and game-ready Play by the rules - enforce guidelines to ensure a fun and safe experience for all REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED At least three (3) months of experience; any equivalent combination of education, training, or any experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

Able to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications SALARY: Pay Grade 10; $13.90 per hour WORK HOURS: 16+ hrs. per week 40 hrs. per week only during the summer months to assist with "Camp Good Times" Weekend work required Attachment(s): RSA I
