Scientific Computing Software Developer

The Missions, Concepts and Capabilities (MCC) division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Scientific Computing Software Developer to join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists developing and utilizing weapons effects modeling and simulation tools. The ideal candidate has interests in computational methodologies such as computational structural mechanics, shock physics, or fluid dynamics and an interest in developing secure, memory safe software.

Tasks include refactoring existing codes to memory safe paradigms and developing enhancements to existing codes used for weapons effects predictions for a Department of War customer.
