Experienced Diesel Mechanic Needed

At Atomic Transport, we take pride in being a leading local bulk hauling company based in Chattanooga, TN. With a dedicated fleet of company-owned assets and W2 drivers, we specialize in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills. We operate a fleet of over 600 tractors and 900 trailers, including top-tier models from Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, and Western Star.

Our trucks are powered by reliable Cummins X15, MP-8, and DD-13 engines, ensuring performance and efficiency across all operations. With over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast, Atomic Transport is rapidly expanding and we’re looking for passionate individuals to grow with us. We’re currently seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team.

What We Offer

Pay starting at: $22-$35 per hour depending on experience! Sign on bonus: $1,000 Competitive Weekly Pay. Paid Holiday, Vacation, and orientation Job Responsibilities: Perform both minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers Diagnose and service Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems Use engine diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform road-side service calls as needed Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed Provide your own basic hand tools (larger/specialty tools provided) Schedule: Monday-Friday ( Saturdays as needed) Day time hours.
