Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Electrical Equipment Engineer / Lead with 9–15 years of expertise in Power Systems, Bus Ducts, HV Equipment, GCB, Switchgear, ETAP, and Dialux. The candidate will be responsible for leading electrical engineering activities, performing advanced power system studies, managing equipment specifications, and supporting execution of large-scale industrial, utility, power generation, Oil & Gas, infrastructure, and data center projects.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for complex projects. Perform and review power system studies using ETAP. Conduct load flow, short circuit, arc flash, motor starting, and protection coordination studies. Review and approve electrical equipment specifications for HV/MV/LV systems. Handle engineering activities related to Bus Ducts, Switchgear, Transformers, GCBs, UPS, and HV Equipment. Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematics, panel layouts, and equipment layouts. Perform lighting calculations and design using Dialux. Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams. Support procurement by evaluating vendor offers and conducting technical bid analysis. Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. Ensure compliance with project specifications, IEC/IEEE standards, and safety requirements. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership during project execution.

Power System Engineering High Voltage (HV) Equipment Design & Engineering Generator Circuit Breakers (GCB) MV/LV Switchgear Systems Bus Duct Engineering & Selection ETAP Power System Studies Dialux Lighting Design Protection & Coordination Studies Load Flow Analysis Short Circuit Studies Arc Flash Analysis Electrical Equipment Sizing & Selection Substation Engineering Electrical Distribution Systems Vendor Management & Technical Evaluation IEC, IEEE, NEC and IS Standards

Additional: Experience in Power Plants, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, or Data Center Projects. Exposure to Electrical Design Software such as ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, E3D, SmartPlant Electrical. Experience in greenfield and brownfield projects. Knowledge of substation design and electrical network planning. Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
