Cashier

SUMMARY: The Cashier is responsible for the uninterrupted and efficient operation of the Point of Sale System in addition to accurately recording all cash and credit transactions for the assigned kitchen.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific tasks and/or activities under each of the following responsibilities will be assigned by the Supervisor. Performs cashier duties, including daily operation of the Point of Sale terminal in a fast-paced setting Receives and posts daily deposits to the Point of Sale system Balances cash register, reconciles cash and checks, and prepares daily bank deposits Assists with food preparation and/or set up before and after serving time Assists in the kitchen, where needed Assists with the training of new substitute or full-time cashiers Regular and timely attendance Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Head Cook or Food Service Director Hours: 4 Hours Per Day Application Procedure All applicants must complete the entire online application.
