Role Overview

As an HR Associate at Frontier , you will drive talent acquisition efforts across multiple roles and clients, while also supporting day-to-day people operations that keep our team engaged and connected. You’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to deliver a seamless hiring experience from sourcing through hiring, and help new team members get off to a strong start once they join.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized, and capable of independently managing recruitment and people operations processes in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of Frontier’s HR team, you’re going to have a wide-ranging group of responsibilities and goals. On a day-to-day basis, this means:

Talent Acquisition

  • Drive sourcing efforts through LinkedIn and other recruitment channels.
  • Source candidates from diverse channels and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Screen resumes and applications while maintaining a strong quality bar.
  • Conduct initial candidate interviews and evaluations.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and hiring activities across multiple roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to support hiring goals and timelines.
  • Track candidate progress and ensure timely communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Communicate status updates and recruitment insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop search strategies to identify and attract top talent.
  • Manage assigned requisitions from intake through offer stages.
  • Take ownership of recruitment-related projects and additional responsibilities as needed.

People Operations

  • Coordinate onboarding for new hires: send welcome emails, set up accounts and tools access, share onboarding documents, and schedule first-week orientation sessions.
  • Run onboarding check-ins at 30, 60, and 90 days to gather feedback and flag concerns early.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and the team directory in our HRIS and shared drives.
  • Prepare and announce employee birthdays, work anniversaries, promotions, and new-hire introductions across company channels.
  • Support employee engagement efforts, such as virtual team events, recognition programs, and pulse surveys.
  • Assist with offboarding: coordinate exit checklists, access removal, and exit interviews.
  • Help keep the employee handbook, HR policies, and onboarding materials up to date.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, HR, People Operations, or related fields.
  • Strong experience in full-cycle recruitment, talent sourcing, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes, employee record-keeping, and HR tools (e.g., an HRIS or ATS).
  • Warm, people-first communicator who enjoys building team culture and handles confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience in a startup environment or in-house recruitment is a plus.
  • Experience supporting remote teams is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Monthly Salary: $550-$700 (based on experience)

Location & Shift Timings

  • Full-time remote role starting as soon as the right candidate is found.
  • Must be comfortable working in the US shift (7AM to 5PM EST)
