Medical Assistant/Qualified Medication Aide

Job Description: Medical Assistant/Qualified Medication Aide Location: Oldenburg, IN, 47036 Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant/Qualified Medication Aide to join our healthcare team in Oldenburg, IN. We are currently hiring for our 3rd shift which is 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM and a $1.00 shift differential is available for this shift.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care and administering medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Pay is negotiable based on experience, starting pay is $17.00/hour.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare professionals with patient care tasks including working as a CNA as needed (pay is not affected) Administer medications to patients as prescribed Monitor and record patient vital signs Assist with medical procedures as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Medical Assistant or Medication Aide training program Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
