Area Superintendent

Job Description: Monitor regional projects and report issues, risks, and scope changes to the General Superintendent and Project Manager Assist with baseline project schedules and ongoing P6 schedule updates Attend pre-job planning, weekly team, and subcontractor pre-task meetings Monitor project quality, perform progress reviews, completion inspections, and punch list reviews Support commissioning, process start-ups, and project closeout activities Mentor and develop Superintendents, Field Engineers, Foremen, and craft workers, including evaluations and training Ensure safety policies are followed and coordinate required training with the Safety Department Support pre-bid site visits, plan reviews, proposals, and constructability reviews for Design-Build and CMAR projects Requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred) Minimum 15 years of construction or construction management experience, with success delivering multimillion-dollar projects Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Superintendent Proven leadership and supervisory experience managing and supporting field personnel Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with project teams, operations leadership, safety, HR, and regional management Current Competent Person certifications in Trenching & Excavation, Scaffolding, Rigging, Confined Space, and Fall Protection Current OSHA 10-Hour certification (required); First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Full-time, exempt, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours as project needs require, including occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime Ability to travel up to 25% throughout the assigned region
