With 12-hour shifts available on both days and nights, you can share your availability and help support essential patient-care needs. Bring your clinical judgment, nursing expertise, and commitment to quality care to a safe and secure correctional healthcare setting. 🩺 What You'll Do Provide nursing assessments and monitor patients' health needs Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders, nursing standards, and applicable regulations Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately to urgent medical needs Coordinate care with providers and other members of the healthcare team Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records Support patient intake, sick call, and ongoing healthcare needs Promote a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment Help maintain continuity of care through dependable PRN shift coverage Qualifications: ✅ Qualifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama Current CPR certification Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team Availability for 12-hour PRN day and/or night shifts Willingness to assist with weekend and holiday coverage as needed Dependability and a commitment to providing quality patient care 📅 Make Your Schedule Work for You Enjoy the flexibility of PRN nursing while helping meet important patient-care needs.
