• Friday | 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with Rotating Weekends Saber Building Services is excited to welcome an experienced Day Porter / Custodian to our team at a behavioral health center near the North Telegraph Road corridor in Pontiac. This is a visible, hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the day. Because the facility remains active during the shift, the Day Porter / Custodian will respond to cleaning needs as they arise while completing routine custodial work throughout assigned areas. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and comfortable working around staff, visitors, and individuals receiving services.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors throughout assigned areas Respond promptly to spills and other immediate cleaning needs Monitor high-traffic areas and communicate facility concerns to management Requirements Rotating Weekend Availability Previous custodial experience required Must be comfortable working in a behavioral health center Dependable and consistent attendance Ability to work independently and respond to changing priorities Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform routine physical custodial tasks Pay: $16 - $17 per hour Additional Information / Benefits Competitive pay and steady, reliable hours Supportive managers who are involved and accessible Paid time off for eligible employees Opportunities to learn, grow, and advance A team-focused culture built on respect and accountability Benefits: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Holidays, 401K/403b Plan, Paid Time Off
