Quality Assurance Inspector- 2nd Shift

Further information is available at www.newflyer.com . The Quality Assurance Inspector at New Flyer is a crucial role focused on maintaining the highest quality standards for our buses. This position involves thorough inspections throughout various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with both internal and external quality control standards.

Inspectors will collaborate closely with production teams, addressing quality issues as they arise and providing guidance on best practices to ensure compliance with specifications. Hours of this position are: 2nd Shift Monday through Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am Requirements What You Will Do: Conduct in-process inspections of components and assemblies during manufacturing.

Perform final inspections on completed buses prior to delivery to ensure adherence to customer specifications. Document all inspection results, quality issues, and corrective actions in a clear and timely manner. Engage in root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with teams to implement effective solutions. Support the Quality Assurance team in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of quality assurance processes and products.

Education and Experience

Previous experience in a quality assurance role. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld procedures. Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Flexibility to work on both shifts as required. Experience with Oracle database systems strongly preferred.
