Director, Accounting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Accounting based in United States. As Director, Accounting, you will own the day-to-day accounting and treasury operations that support accurate, reliable, and audit-ready financial reporting.

Reporting to the Controller, you will lead the month-end close, multi-entity consolidation, reconciliations, and internal controls. You will also serve as the primary liaison for external financial statement audits and collaborate closely with tax advisors and Treasury. A key focus will be improving processes and introducing AI-enabled workflows across accounting operations.

You will build and develop a small, high-performing team while remaining hands-on as a player-coach. This is a high-impact opportunity to strengthen the financial foundation of a growing organization and help prepare its accounting function for future IPO-readiness demands.
