• Tempe, AZ, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $19.00 - $19.00Hourly, Job Shift: DAY - 6:00am-3:00pm, QUALIFICATIONS: Skills & Abilities: Ability to operate packaging equipment as needed. Requires ability to read, hear, speak, and comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Experience: General knowledge of food manufacturing environment and conveyor systems is helpful. Education/Certifications: High School Diploma or Educational Equivalent. Fork lift certification. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires ability to safely operate equipment. Requires ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings. Requires ability to hear and speak. Requires ability to walk and stand for 12 or more hours at a time. Requires ability to stoop, bend, reach, lift and carry items between 20 and 55lbs often. Requires ability to push and pull items frequently in excess of 55lbs. Requires ability to climb ladders and stairs of various heights including floors of 100ft or more. Requires ability to visually observe the condition of surroundings. Requires ability to frequently hear and speak in very noisy environments. Requires ability to work in varying extreme hot, cold, and wet temperatures and conditions. Requires ability to work in confined spaces frequently. Requires ability to work safely with hazardous chemicals. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: None Minimal Moderate High PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain general cleanliness of warehouse production area and powder packaging areas. Perform general housekeeping duties for production powder warehouse and packaging areas, including general sanitation, cleaning, sweeping, etc. Perform miscellaneous production powder warehouse support duties including sorting, stacking, etc. Provide relief coverage for packaging operators as needed. Perform general production powder warehouse and packaging housekeeping duties, such as sanitation, cleaning, sweeping, etc. Perform the efficient operation of all packaging equipment to maintain Company established production standards for pounds per hour of finished product and bags per hour. Maintain proper packaging supply stock. Keep accurate and legible records. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area at all times. Adhere to all SOP’s and HACCP guidelines. Adhere to all UDA quality, safety, and GMP policies and procedures, reporting any nonconformity. Other duties as required Qualifications:
