operating a commercial van, adhering to DOT regulations and local traffic laws, performing vehicle inspections, loading and delivering packages, using handheld devices for route and package tracking, and maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Safely operate an Amazon-branded, DOT-regulated delivery vehicle. Package Handling: Load, organize, scan, and deliver packages efficiently and accurately to residential and commercial locations. Navigation: Use handheld GPS and Amazon delivery apps to follow a mapped delivery route. Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, local traffic laws, and DOT regulations, including performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Customer Service: Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner. Problem-Solving: Independently solve issues that arise on the road.
• Record-Keeping: Track and report working hours and breaks as required by regulations and company policy.

Requirements

Age: Must be at least 21 years old.

• License: Possess a valid driver's license. Physical: Successfully complete a DOT physical and maintain the required medical card. Skills: Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs, work independently, and perform in varying weather conditions.
