This role is responsible for maintaining the physical environment of our facilities, ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating efficiently to support the well-being of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work, to ensure the facility's infrastructure is in optimal condition.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential safety hazards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance services when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and maintenance logs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on facility operations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and reduce downtime.
• Ensure that all maintenance tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored safely.
• Collaborate with the management team to plan and execute facility improvement projects, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and staff.
• Provide support during emergency situations, including power outages, equipment failures, and natural disasters, to ensure the safety and comfort of residents and staff.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with industry standards and best practices in facility maintenance.Qualifications: Required Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's license Preferred Experience:
• Experience in maintenance or a similar role within the healthcare or health services industry.
• Proven experience with facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs.
• Experience in a senior living or healthcare environment is highly advantageous.
