Senior Manual IT Tester

We are looking for a Senior Manual IT Tester to support the development and quality assurance of a complex banking credit workflow system covering web and mobile applications, backend services, and system integrations. The role focuses on designing and executing manual functional and integration tests, REST/SOAP API testing, SQL-based data validation, and application log analysis using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Kibana, and Chrome Dev.

Tools . The consultant will work closely with Developers, Analysts, and Scrum teams to investigate defects, validate end-to-end business processes, monitor testing progress, and ensure the reliability of new functionality across integrated banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare manual test cases and test scenarios
• Execute functional and integration tests
• Perform REST/SOAP API testing
• Test web and mobile application functionality
• Validate frontend and backend behaviour
• Use SQL to verify data and system results
• Analyse application logs to investigate defects
• Plan and organise testing activities
• Monitor test execution and report progress
• Register and track defects
• Retest fixes delivered by developers
• Support the creation of automated tests
• Cooperate with Developers, Analysts and Scrum teams
• Prepare testing documentation and reports Requirements
• Strong commercial manual testing experience
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Frontend and backend testing
• API testing using Postman or SoapUI
• SQL knowledge and data validation
• Application log analysis, preferably Kibana
• Chrome Dev. Tools or similar browser developer tools
• Test case and test scenario design
• Knowledge of ISTQB testing principles and best practices
• Jira or similar test management tools
• Experience reporting and monitoring test results
• Understanding of data models and structures
• Experience working with Developers, Analysts and Scrum teams
• Fluent Polish
• English minimum B2 Nice to have
• Banking or financial services experience
• Credit or lending systems experience
• Backend test automation experience
• Basic programming knowledge for debugging and testing
• Experience with complex enterprise integrations
