Authorization Advocate

This position would obtain authorizations for patients with a hospital order. This could be an imaging, rehab, sleep and/or cardiology order. This applicant would utilize multiple websites, our EMR (meditech), teams and our web based phones to speak with insurance companies, patients as needed and provider offices. This applicant would need to be organized and detail oriented; processing many authorizations each day.

This applicant would be responsible for assisting on the STAT call line for patient orders that need to have authorization obtained immediately.
