Veterinary Assistant, Surgery Location: Waukesha, WI Schedule: Full Time | 1st Shift | 4 Ten Hour Shifts Per Week | No Weekends and No On Call!

From challenging emergency cases to opportunities to participate in clinical research, you'll have the resources and support to grow your career while making a meaningful impact on the lives of pets, their families, and the veterinary community every day In Your Day-to-Day, You Will: Safely restrain patients during examinations, treatments, and procedures.

Maintain clean, organized kennels, treatment areas, surgery suites, and floors. Stock treatment areas and surgery suites with necessary supplies. Complete laundry to ensure clean bedding, towels, and other linens are available. Support patient comfort by providing meals and taking patients outside as needed. Assist with maintaining surgery and anesthesia equipment and cleaning surgical instruments.

Help prepare patients and procedure areas for surgical and non-surgical procedures. Manage multiple tasks with attention to detail in a physically active environment, including standing for most of your shift and staying beyond scheduled hours when needed. What You Bring: At least 2 years of experience in the veterinary field, including veterinary customer service.

A collaborative approach and commitment to building lasting relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community. A positive attitude and passion for delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
