BAYADA Home Health Care is offering a unique opportunityfor a Registered Nurse, RN with with apassion for clinical education!In this role as aFull-Time Registered Nurse Lead Preceptor,you willtrain, coach and mentor newly hired RNS and LPNs.Thisexciting new role will work one-on-one with our nurses to ensure our clinicians aredeliveringexceptional caretoadult and geriatric patientsliving in their homes inWaltham, Newton, Boston, Braintree, Canton, Foxborough, and surrounding towns. In this role, you will also maintain a small caseload of patients.Prior Medicare Certified Home Health (VNA) experience is required.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Precept newly hired RNs and LPNs
• Provide one-on-one clinical training to all field RNs and LPNs during home visits
• Collaborate with the RN Clinical Manager and Clinical Educator to ensure ongoing staff competencies
• Perform assigned duties of the RN Case Manager, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program
• A minimum of one year of recent Medicare Certified Home Health (VNA) experience.
• Previous Precepting experience is a plus
