Shipping Clerk - 3rd

Position Summary

The shipping clerk’s primary role is to support the shipping department by inspecting, part marking, demasking, verifying, processing, and packaging all materials. They assist with various tasks including order entry, picking, packing, and delivery of both internal and external orders as required. They support management with any other shipping and receiving tasks that must be completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure parts are free of FOD Unmasking Wrap parts in a manner that ensures no damage during shipping Verify part quantities prior to shipment Ensure that all proper documentation is included with shipped parts General cleaning and housekeeping duties Other duties may be assigned as requested by supervisor Position Requirements Ability to read, write and communicate Critical thinking and problem solving required Attention to detail Ability to work efficiently with minimal errors Reliable and responsible Maintain organization High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of industrial related experience preferred
