  • Provide a ro l e model a s a pr a ctition e r for faculty, fellows a nd r e si d ents a n d stu d ents.
  • Provide p e er review f o r ass e ss i ng the c l inical pra c ti ce o f fa cu lt y withi n th e Department.
  1. Administration (5%)
  • • Serve on institutional and hospital committees as requested by attending appropriate meetings which may include walking to each meeting site. Listen to deliberations and provide verbal feedback as necessary. Visually review all documents pertaining to committee function.

  1. Educational (10%)
  • • Provide a balanced and integrated educational program in Benign Hematology for medical Fellows and/or Residents who rotate through the Section of Benign Hematology
  • Attend and participate in Division/Department teaching and continuing education conferences which require verbal interaction with colleagues and walking to meeting locations throughout the campus. ED U C AT ION A N D LICE NS URE: Re q u i r e d: MD Licensed to practice in Texas Board certified/eligible in Hematology ( or obtained within departmental timeline ) EXPERIENCE: Required: At least 5 year’s experience post degree with any combination of time as a Clinician, Clinical Scientist, or GME trainee ( except specialties with shorter residencies or fellowships ) The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center offers excellent benefits , including medical, dental, paid time off , retirement , tuition benefits, educational opportunities, and individual and team recognition.
