The Opportunity Due to continued growth and a strong national client portfolio, a well-established environmental consultancy is looking to recruit qualified Asbestos Analysts, Surveyors, and Consultants to join its technical team based in Wakefield. Key Responsibilities
Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in accordance with HSG 264 Complete re-inspection audits of existing asbestos surveys Undertake air monitoring and inspection services associated with asbestos removal works Supervise asbestos removal projects where required Provide professional asbestos consultancy and specialist advice to clients Accurately produce survey reports with strong attention to detail Represent the business professionally on site and with clients Maintain high standards of Health & Safety compliance at all times Requirements Essential Skills & Experience BOHS P402 or P403 & P404 (or equivalent) Ideally 2+ years’ industry experience Working knowledge of HSG 248 & HSG 264 Strong communication, client liaison, and report writing skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of asbestos-related Health & Safety Flexible approach to working hours Full UK driving licence IT literate (experience with TEAMs beneficial but not essential – training provided) Benefits Industry-leading overtime: Time and a half during the week £25 per hour on weekends (minimum 4 hours paid) Work-life balance commitment, including: Time in lieu Flexible working week Paid travel time Company vehicle Company-paid healthcare plan Company pension (3% employer contribution) 22 days annual leave, plus: Long service awards at 3 & 5 years Extra day off for your birthday Paid statutory bank holidays (8) Contractual sick pay
