Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment.

Job Description: Coordinate and schedule all treatment-related appointments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, injections, lab work, and follow-up visits. Work closely with oncologists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure accurate and timely treatment planning. Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, provide instructions, and address questions or concerns.

Monitor provider schedules and infusion chair availability to avoid scheduling conflicts or delays. Verify prior authorizations for treatment when required; collaborate with insurance coordinators as needed. Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with current appointment and treatment information. Ensure that treatment plans are accurately reflected in the scheduling system according to provider orders.

Respond to patient calls and messages in a timely and professional manner. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism per HIPAA and practice policies. Assist in the coordination of referrals, imaging, or outside consults as directed.
