Technical Product Owner

Technical Product Owner We are looking for a strong Technical Product Owner to join our R&D team. The role combines product ownership, requirements management and technical understanding. You will work closely with Development, QA and Technical Team Leads across Romania and Israel, ensuring that business needs are translated into clear requirements and that the team has a shared understanding of the product.

In this role you will: Take ownership of product requirements , from business needs or customer requests through to clear and testable specifications. Develop a strong understanding of the business flow and translate business needs into clear requirements. Create and maintain user stories, epics and acceptance criteria .

Work closely with the Technical Team Lead and Development team to clarify requirements and address technical questions. Act as the bridge between business needs and the technical team . Manage and prioritize the product backlog . Identify gaps and ask the right questions to ensure requirements are clear before development starts.

Collaborate with QA to ensure requirements and expected behavior are well understood. Keep Product, Development and QA aligned throughout the delivery process. Support product documentation and release planning. Continuously look for ways to improve the product and the delivery process.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Management, Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or similar role. Strong experience with requirements management in an Agile environment. Ability to transform business needs and ideas into clear, structured and testable requirements . Good understanding of business processes and end-to-end product flows .

Good technical understanding and ability to communicate effectively with Development and Technical Teams. Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog management . Strong communication and collaboration skills in English. Strong ownership and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Experience working on complex products or projects . Experience with AI, Big Data or other technology-driven products . Experience working with international or distributed teams. Background in defense, intelligence, security or similar environments .
