What You'll Do

Assist in planning and leading recreational, social, cultural, and educational activities Encourage resident participation and foster meaningful engagement Escort residents to and from activities as needed Help organize special events, holiday celebrations, outings, and entertainment programs Provide one-on-one visits and individualized activities for residents who may not attend group programs Assist with activity documentation and maintaining activity supplies Work closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to enhance quality of life What We're Looking For Positive, enthusiastic, and compassionate personality Genuine interest in working with seniors Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Creative mindset with the ability to engage residents of varying abilities Previous experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, customer service, childcare, education, or related fields is a plus, but not required Why Join The Williamsport Home?

Qualifications

Educational and Experience Requirements: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Ability to read writes and speaks English. Ability to follow oral and written direction.
