Job Overview: As a Lead Project Controls Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules for Primoris Energy Services in Sherman, Texas, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves comprehensive schedule management, progress tracking, and critical path analysis to support successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for complex energy infrastructure projects, including all phases from initiation to close-out. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction teams to gather project information, define scope, and establish realistic activity durations and logic.

  • Perform critical path analysis, identify potential delays, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines. * Monitor and track project progress against baseline schedules, identify variances, and prepare comprehensive schedule reports and forecasts. * Conduct "what-if" scenario analyses to assess the impact of changes or risks on project schedules.

  • Facilitate schedule review meetings with project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of schedule status and concerns. * Develop and implement standardized scheduling procedures and best practices across projects. * Support project controls reporting requirements, including earned value analysis and cost integration with schedules.

  • Mentor junior schedulers and project controls personnel. * Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and project-specific requirements. Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 8 years of experience in project controls scheduling, with significant experience in the energy, oil and gas, or heavy industrial construction sectors.

  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (P6 EPPM). * Strong understanding of project management principles, including critical path methodology, earned value management, and risk analysis. * Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, and maintain complex project schedules for large-scale projects. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * PMP or PMI-SP certification is a plus.
