B ERGEN COUNTY SPECIAL SERVICES ANNOUNCEMENT: POSITION OPENING The Board of Education is seeking applications for the 2026-2027 school year for the following position: TEACHER OF THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING (PART-TIME) (10 Months � Certificated) Sound Solutions Qualifications: Possess a New Jersey DOE certificate Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing: Oral/Aural communication.

An New Jersey DOE elementary education endorsement � required. Knowledge of AVT techniques and sign language communication � preferred. Background working with hearing impaired students � preferred. New Jersey residence within one (1) year from date of hire.
