Schedule Needed: Tuesdays & Thursdays Villa Redondo Care is an 80 bed assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in Downtown Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver who has the passion to help the elderly and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

(non-negotiable): Able to pass DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance High school diploma or GED required Experience in caregiving and medical administration preferred Full-Time and Part-Time positions available in various shifts Job Description: Assist with the basic needs of a RCFE (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly).

Assist with daily assignments, ensuring completion in assistance with resident Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Communicates clearly, calmly and effectively with residents, families and Wellness Coordinator with any changes or resident concerns Provide ethical and respectful care to residents Progressive documentation and communication with physician and /or medical professional Ensure that residents stay stress-free as much as possible by working with medical professionals in regards to reducing of pain while promoting engagement and independence Maintains good composure during emergencies Maintains a safe work environment We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full time employees including Medical, Dental, Vision insurance.
