About the Role

  • Responsible for the production of architectural documentation for all stages of projects (Feasibility, Concept Design, Development Applications, Construction Documentation).
  • Utilisation of 3D BIM software to efficiently achieve team and practice goals.
  • Collaboratively develop and implement design concepts through all stages of a project Key Responsibilities: Liaison with consultants under the direction of the Project Architect Liaise with Project Architect and Associate or Senior Associate overseeing the project Communicate with project team members Presence on office committees – optional involvement Awareness of the program for the project Active participant in the progression of the project Collate drawings / create digital files Uploading / downloading drawings to web-based drawing storage facility Ability to deliver to project milestones as scheduled To pursue design excellence and innovation Complete timesheets ready for processing weekly Ad hoc duties as required Adhere to the guidelines set out by the Australian Institute of Architects Requirements Experience & Requirements Minimum 4+ years’ experience in architectural professional practice Strong experience in producing architectural documentation across multiple project stages Advanced proficiency in 3D BIM software, particularly ArchiCAD Solid understanding of architectural systems, construction methods, and documentation standards Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and coordinated drawings Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of computer technologies relevant to architecture and design Qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture or relevant tertiary qualification Master’s degree in Architecture or related field – highly desirable Registration as an Architect (NSW or other states) – advantageous but not essential Desirable: Experience working on Australian-based projects Exposure to complex or large-scale developments Strong design sensibility with a balance of technical expertise
  • Ability to contribute to process improvements and innovation within the practice
