Customer Service Specialist

What Will You Do? We are searching for an upbeat and efficient Customer Service Specialist with a positive attitude to join our customer care team. The individual in this key role will deliver information to both internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner.

Key responsibilities

• Promptly respond to external customers and channel partners with on time quotations, pricing, and lead times on one of our quick turnaround product lines.
• Build relationships with customers by efficiently and accurately processing new orders as well as providing continuous updated lead time and tracking information.
• Prioritize and respond to a moderate volume of emails and calls daily.
• Prepare submittal packets for Sales Team.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role
• Order entry in an ERP system Or Baan preferred
• Excellent clerical skills
• Experience with contract review/administration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Access. Skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
• Ability to respond appropriately under pressure
• Strong order entry/database skills
