Job description

Nextlink is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, DevOps, and cloud-native application development to support the modernization and scalability of critical Asset Management platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions supporting client management, transaction processing, and regulatory reporting functions.

This role requires strong full-stack engineering capabilities, cloud expertise, automation experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Modernization Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using the Microsoft .NET technology stack. Drive modernization initiatives for client, transaction, and regulatory reporting platforms. Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions aligned with business objectives.

Implement best practices in software architecture, coding standards, and application lifecycle management. Participate in system design reviews and technical decision-making. Cloud & Azure Engineering Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

Optimize applications for reliability, scalability, security, and performance. Leverage Azure services to improve solution efficiency and resilience. DevOps & Automation Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Automate deployment, monitoring, testing, and operational processes.

Promote DevOps best practices across development and operations teams. Continuously improve software delivery processes and operational efficiency. Full Stack Development Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using .NET technologies. Design and optimize database solutions using SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Contribute to frontend development using Angular or React where applicable.

Ensure seamless integration between front-end, back-end, and cloud components. Business & Technical Analysis Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements. Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications. Design solutions that address: Scalability Reliability Security Performance Maintainability Agile Collaboration Work closely within Agile Scrum teams.

Participate in sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with globally distributed teams and stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.

Requirements

Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered. Experience Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software development experience using .NET technologies. Proven experience developing enterprise-scale applications.

Experience working in Agile development environments. Previous experience in banking, financial services, or asset management is highly desirable Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and Microservices. Hands-on experience with relational databases including: Microsoft SQL Server PostgreSQL Experience designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting database-driven applications.

Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI/CD. Experience implementing DevOps best practices, deployment automation, and release management processes. Solid experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application architectures.

Ability to design secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing cloud solutions.
