Underwriting Assistant - Property

Job Summary

To provide technical, administrative, and operational support for business underwritten by the Company, assisting Underwriters (across all offices) with effective and efficient performance of the department’s day-to-day activities and responsibilities. Job Description Duties and Responsibilities To complete all administrative and operational duties, including review, data entry (logging), checking, and electronic filing, maintaining internal database files (Submission-tracker, renewal lists and other related files), in accordance with the Company's Underwriting Policy and Procedure Manual, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all times.

To review and follow premium chasing and allocation procedures in line with the Company's internal guidelines. To attend and actively participate in team meetings as scheduled. To review, complete, and respond Shared Inbox(s) Inquires as required. To review, complete, and respond to internal reports, where required, in coordination with the team and in accordance with the Company's internal guidelines.

To liaise with all internal departments, including Aggregation, Compliance, KYC, Credit Control, Claims, Finance, Administration, IT and Underwriting Management, ensuring smooth and effective operations at all times To maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is handled and stored in accordance with Company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Complete PMP process in accordance with the Company’s internal guidelines To carry out any additional duties, tasks & projects set by respective line manager and/or senior management as and when required Job Specifications Academic Qualifications: Preferred Bachelor’s degree Experience Required: (Re). Insurance experience preferred (0-3 years) Training Required: Working towards CII qualifications Languages: Fluent in English, both written and oral Key Competencies: Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft office
