Parts Driver

About the Role

As a Parts Driver, you'll keep our shops stocked and running smoothly. You'll deliver parts safely and efficiently, manage freight, and support warehouse operations. Strong customer service skills and a dependable work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

Deliver auto parts safely and efficiently, using an assigned Parts vehicle Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, equipment, materials, and other items Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight Place parts and commodities in designated areas of individual shops Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, stock issue, and inventory maintenance Record vehicle maintenance data and operate assigned vehicles Receive requests, prioritize tasks, and prepare daily work schedules Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Valid driver's license with a standard driving record Knowledge of traffic laws, defensive driving, and safe driving practices Experience providing exceptional customer service, with tact, patience, and courtesy Ability to lift and move parts safely using proper lifting techniques Ability to work independently with little direction, as well as cooperatively with a team Ability to follow oral and written instructions and meet schedules and deadlines Reliable attendance Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Health Spending Account (HSA) Life insurance (voluntary) Accident and critical illness coverage (voluntary) Paid vacation and sick time Paid holidays 401(k) Direct deposit Banister Nissan of Norfolk is an equal opportunity employer.
