Child Care Housekeeper - Rideau Y

The Housekeeper is accountable to the Manager, and will function as a team member responsible for overseeing the function of the kitchen, ensuring that meals and snacks are prepared and delivered to the program rooms in a timely fashion. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for duties such as laundry, light cleaning duties, sanitization of program areas and materials, and garbage removal.

The Housekeeper may also provide enhanced support to the Educators during busy transition times and the lunch-sleep hour allowing Educators the time to focus on the children. This is a unionized position.
