Senior IT Operations Manager

Provide tiered support to resolve complex IT issues escalated from the helpdesk. Monitor and optimize the performance of IT systems and services to meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs). Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery. Partner on cost effective procurement of global IT hardware, software, and services.

Partner to develop and manage the site’s IT budget, monitoring expenditure and optimizing costs. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes and outcomes. Partner to develop and execute site-specific IT strategies and plans aligned with the organization’s overall IT and business objectives.

What you will bring

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with significant exposure to infrastructure and systems administration required. Experience in planning and managing IT projects. Thorough understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).

Proficiency in managing server and storage environments (Windows/Linux servers, SAN/NAS). Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Experience with enterprise applications and system integrations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft MCP/MCSE, or VMware VCP are advantageous.
