Field LVN Location: Longview, TX 75601 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team as a Field LVN in Longview, TX. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their health and comfort while promoting independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders and care plans. Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or physician. Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.

Document patient care accurately and timely in compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements. Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and disease prevention. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

Current and valid LVN license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred, preferably in home health or related field. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field setting.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. CPR certification preferred. Work Environment This position involves traveling to patient homes within the Longview, TX area.
