Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a La Langues des signes Quebecoise (LSQ) Interpreter. Reporting to the Manager, Professional Practice, the Interpreter will provide confidential interpreting services between La Langues des signes Quebecoise (LSQ) and French clients in-person and/or via video in a variety of settings, which include community, medical, mental health, and emergency events.

This posting is for an existing vacancy. This is a full-time permanent position, with working hours of Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. As an active member of the Canadian Association of Sign Language Interpreters (CASLI) you hold a 3- 4-year post-secondary diploma/degree from an accredited program. You have a minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience combined with excellent language skills over the continuum of the working languages, which will include a sign language (LSQ to French), both receptively and expressively.
