Job description
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist, Web Experience to be the day-to-day lead for the health and growth of Perficient’s corporate website. You will be an expert SitecoreAI practitioner who authors and publishes content and manages the CMS, including site structure, workflows, and governance standards that keep the platform both consistent and high performing.
You'll use data and AI-enabled tools to make recommendations and work closely with developers, marketers, and data and platform partners to drive the website roadmap. This role, located at our Corporate office in St. Louis, MO, partners across the team to understand our business, how targets discover and utilize our website, and use that knowledge to inform content and onsite experience that drives brand awareness and understanding.
Platform and CMS operations Build, edit, and publish pages, campaign landing pages, and forms in SitecoreAI, maintaining site structure, navigation, URLs, and the media library, and using AI content-operations tools to streamline repeatable work. Manage the website request intake and approval workflows: clarify requirements, set expectations on timing, escalate capacity issues to the marketing manager, and keep stakeholders informed of priorities and status.
Content quality, governance, and best practice Help refine, document, and apply content governance standards (metadata, taxonomy, schema, accessibility, and URLs), and check content before publication against brand, accessibility, and SEO standards. Perform recurring content, SEO, and technical audits, including page speed and Core Web Vitals, using tools such as Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console; remediate or escalate findings and retire outdated pages.
Performance and optimization Monitor and report site performance using Google Analytics (GA4) or similar platforms, and use Hotjar or similar tools to spot usability problems and propose fixes. Plan and run conversion tests and page-level experiments, recommend changes based on results, and measure conversions across the broader customer journey.
Help drive the roadmap Partner with developers on backlog items: discuss requirements, test changes in lower environments, confirm releases, and escalate platform issues with clear steps and expected outcomes. Bring prioritized optimization ideas, with expected impact, to roadmap discussions, working with designers or agencies to turn UX and conversion insights into briefs, wireframes, and test plans.
3–5 years of hands-on experience managing a corporate website in an enterprise CMS, with strong Sitecore expertise (SitecoreAI / XM Cloud, or Sitecore XP/XM with exposure to headless or XM Cloud). Working knowledge of Sitecore content architecture and headless publishing, plus experience with Sitecore Content Hub DAM or a comparable DAM platform.
Strong command of web best practice (SEO, structured data, accessibility, and page performance including Core Web Vitals) and a working understanding of UX principles and conversion optimization. Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) to interpret results and recommend changes, and experience working alongside developers on a website roadmap.
Desirable: platform experience/familiarity with Gradial, Hotjar, Sitecore Personalize, Semrush, Asana, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, One. Trust, Screaming Frog, Salesforce Sales and Account Engagement Clouds, and BI platforms. Strong written communication and a disciplined approach to documentation. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
