We are currently seeking a motivated and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our evening team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking for a stable part-time evening schedule in a fast-paced and supportive clinical environment. The Role: As a Medical Assistant, you will be a vital part of our evening clinical team. You will be responsible for standard clinical support—such as rooming patients and taking vitals, and serving as a point of contact for our patients over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Intake: Greet and room patients, record accurate medical histories, and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration). Patient Communications: Answer incoming patient calls, assist with general inquiries, schedule or adjust appointments, and relay messages between patients and providers.

Clinical Support: Assist providers with basic medical procedures, wound care, and point-of-care testing as needed. EMR Management: Accurately document all patient encounters, lab results, and imaging in AdvancedMD. Facility Maintenance: Ensure exam rooms and the X-ray suite are sanitized, fully stocked, and prepared for incoming patients.

Qualifications

& Requirements: license in the State of Texas is absolutely required .

Education

High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is strongly preferred. Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification required. Experience: Previous experience in an urgent care, primary care, or fast-paced clinic setting is highly preferred. Skills: Exceptional patient care and communication skills, strong telephone etiquette, attention to detail, and proficiency with EMR systems (experience with AdvancedMD is a plus).
