Lab Assistant

Draws blood specimens from patients for laboratory analysis, performs clerical, specimen distribution, washroom duties and assists the medical technologists in the clinical laboratory.# High school diploma or equivalent required.# CPT (ASPT) or PBT (ASCP) certification preferred.# Laboratory medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritizes workload.# Requires good interpersonal and communication skills.# Requires good manual dexterity.# Previous phlebotomy training/experience in a hospital setting preferred.
