Certified Medication Technician CMA

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Location: Wilkesboro, NC Schedule: Full-Time Make a Meaningful Difference Every Day Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our resident care team. In this role, you'll help ensure residents receive medications safely and on schedule while providing hands-on support that promotes comfort, independence, and well-being.

What You'll Be Doing Assist residents with daily care needs while promoting dignity and respect. Prepare and administer medications in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns to nursing staff. Record medication administration and resident observations accurately and promptly. Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning as needed. Support residents with personal care tasks, including grooming, dressing, and hygiene. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

Work closely with nurses and other care team members to ensure continuity of care. Encourage resident engagement and contribute to a positive living environment.

What We're Looking For

Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification. High school diploma or GED. Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain organized throughout the shift. Compassionate approach to resident care. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
