• La Mirada, CA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $45.00 - $55.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Days, Job Category: Specialty, LABORATORY SERVICES SUPERVISOR Vista Specialty Hospital Laboratory Supervisor Summary: Assist with the supervision and coordination of staff and activities responsible for monitoring laboratory testing performed including implementation and use of point-of-care devices and tests. Monitors and evaluates the quality of POCT processes to ensure accurate, reliable and prompt results can be used in clinical decision-making by non-laboratory staff. Ensures regulatory and accreditation requirements are satisfied. Provides subject-matter services for POCT activities to a diverse client base, including hospital locations and nursing units to ensure best practice standards.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology or related degree, required. Licenses/Certification: Clinical Laboratory Technologist, AMT/ASCP required. Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of pertinent clinical laboratory experience, required. Strong written and oral communication skills. Safety Sensitive-Designated Position
